Group Stage: All matches are Best of 1. This means, that in the score you'll have to enter the number of rounds won and lost.
For example, Minimum rounds to win is 16. The score will always consist of one team scoring 16 points to win. Except when another team concedes to another team. Then the score of that moment is applied in the score.

Winning condidtions At the end of all groupmatches, the teams with the highest ranking will continue to the main tournament on saturday.

Rules

1 Format



1.1 Tournament structure


The tournament consists of a BYOC Qualifier (preliminaries), which results in two teams advancing to the Main Tournament, which consists of 6 invites + 2 teams from the BYOC Qualifier.

1.2 Preliminaries


Round Robin format, Teams are placed into random groups. The amount of maps played per match depends on the number of signups and will be communicated just before starting time. It will be played out on Friday evening. Two teams will advance to the Main Tournament.

1.3 Main tournament


Single-elimination

Best of 3 maps for all the matches.



The schedule and locations (booth or main stage) are predetermined.

1.4 Determining a winner


First team to win 16 rounds wins the map, if after 30 rounds neither team has won 16 rounds an overtime of 6 rounds(first to win 4, 10k startmoney) will be added, which can be extended again if after 6 rounds both teams have acquired the same amount of wins.

2 Maps



2.1 Map pool


Active duty map pool as of November 1st, according to Liquipedia.net;

· Inferno.

· Train.

· Mirage.

· Nuke.

· Overpass.

· Cache.

· Dust II.


2.2 Map choice Bo1:


Play a knife round, winner chooses whether they act as Team A or Team B.

Team A bans two(2) maps in a row.

Team B bans three(3) maps in a row.

Team A chooses the map to be played from the last two remaining maps.

Team B chooses the starting side.


2.3 Map choice Bo3:


Play a knife round, winner chooses whether they act as Team A or Team B.

Team A bans 1 map.

Team B bans 1 map.

Team A picks the map for game 1 and Team B has side choice.

Team B picks the map for game 2 and Team A has side choice.

Team B bans 1 map.

Team A picks the third map and Team B has side choice.


2.4 Map choice Bo5:


Play a knife round, winner chooses whether they act as Team A or Team B.

Team A bans 1 map.

Team B bans 1 map.

Team A picks the map for game 1 and Team B has side choice.

Team B picks the map for game 2 and Team A has side choice.

Team A picks the map for game 3 and Team B has side choice.

Team B picks the map for game 4 and Team A has side choice.

The remaining map will be used for game 5, winner of a knife round has side choice.




3 Game settings



3.1 In-Game overlays



All in game overlays are forbidden, an exception exists for the following provided they are not used to gain an unfair competitive advantage:

3.2 Scripts


All use of scripts are forbidden, an exception exists for the following provided they are not used to gain an unfair competitive advantage:

- Buy scripts

- Demo scripts

- Say scripts

4 Start time


Games have to be started at the designated time, matches that are not broadcasted by streaming partners may be started earlier if both teams agree.

4.1 No show


If a team is not in the lobby ready to play at the designated start time the Admins have to be notified immediately. If a team is not ready to play at the designated start time a grace period will activate. If the timer runs out teams that are not ready to play will receive penalties and may forfeit their game.

5 Substitutes


Substitutes are not allowed. Admins can allow a substitute in extremely rare circumstances.

6 Recording


It is every team their own responsibility to record the match. In case of any dispute the team has the burden to prove their claim to the competition admin.


7 Pause


In case of a technical issue the game is to be paused during the next freezetime. If the accumulated time paused during a game exceeds 10 minutes an Admin has to be notified of the reason for the pause.


8 Additional rules preliminaries



8.1 Confirmation


Teams that have registered online must confirm their registration at the competition desk on Friday, 9th of November, before 7:30 PM. To ease the confirmation process please bring your seat numbers.

8.2 Seat numbers


To make sure that everyone can be easily located please ensure that your seat numbers are displayed on your Team Profile page.


9 Additional rules main tournament



9.1 Match start


Matches can be started after both teams, the streaming partner and the admins give the OK.

9.2 Voice server


TeamSpeak servers will be provided by the event to enable communication between players during the matches. It is allowed for a coach to join the communication line in-between matches. Though this person is responsible for providing the means and hardware to do so himself.

9.3 Electronic devices


Only approved Electronic devices are permitted in the play area, valuable Electronic devices can be stored in the safe for the duration of the game.

9.4 Technical pause

A technical pause can be requested by any player of the team typing “rcon mp_pause_match”

The technical pause will start during the next freezetime, during the pause players can only talk to admins. It is only allowed to request a technical pause during technical difficulties with provided equipment. And unpausing is very similar: “rcon mp_unpause_match”.


9.5 User configs and drivers


During the preparation phase of each teams’ first match, each player will store their CSGO user file settings on a USB stick provided by the organization. This USB stick will then be checked by a tech admin and stored in a vault. For all future matches, the USB sticks will be retrieved from the vault and players will setup using only the provided medium.


9.6 Overnight stay


A nearby sleeping accommodation will be reserved for the four remaining teams who will be playing their last matches on Sunday, 11th of November.
